From 28 September to 2 October 2026, I hosted Yuichi Goto (Kyushu University, Japan) in Göttingen. On 30 September, he gave a talk in the Stochastic Colloquium of the Institute for Mathematical Stochastics, On parametric spectral inference for heavy-tailed time series. During his visit, we continued our collaboration on copula-based spectral methods, which began with our joint paper The Integrated Copula Spectrum (Annals of Statistics, 2022).
